Yomama E Motors, the distributors for
Genius electric motorcycles
and TAILG electric scooters, has inaugurated a new retail showroom in Naxal, Kathmandu, and the company has also introduced two electric motorcycles and scooters in the domestic market. The electric motorcycles are Genius X 46 and Genius XY 46 and the two electric scooters are TAILG Lion and TAILG Tiger.
Genius electric motorcycles which showcased its products at last year's NADA Auto Show is marketed by Yomama E Motors as affordable electric two-wheelers. Genius is trying to tap into the growing electric two-wheelers segment with products imported from China. Similarly, TAILG is another Chinese EV manufacturer that makes electric bikes/scooters/tricycles and other electric vehicles.
Genius X 46:
Priced at Nrs 4.26 Lakhs, the Geniux X46 is a streetfighter that is trying it's best to look like the Kawasaki Z900 supernaked. The bike is powered by a 4 kW motor and a 4.3 Kw (72V60AH) lithium-ion battery pack. Max power stands at 9.3 bhp while peak power is rated at 17.4 bhp. It can go from 0-60 kmh in 3 seconds.

Genius XY 46:
The Genius XY 46 follows a similar knock-off design language like the Genius X 46. Priced at Nrs 4.26 Lakhs, the super-sports inspired Genius XY 46 gets all the bells and whistles in terms of styling at this price point. The bike is powered by the same motor from the X 46 with identical power output.

TAILG Electric Scooters:
Yomama E Motors has also re-introduced TAILG electric scooters in the Nepalese market. The company is currently offering two electric scooters - Lion and Tiger, at a price of Rs 1.83 Lakhs. The Lion electric scooter is powered by a 60V32Ah lithium-ion battery pack with maximum motor power of 3.3 bhp and a maximum range of 85 km. Similarly, the Tiger electric scooter is powered by a 72v32Ah lithium-ion battery pack with the same 3.3 bhp motor power and an extra 10 km range as compared to the Lion. Both electric scooters get LED projector headlight, keyless start, tubeless tyres, 6-inch LCD screen, sensors, and disc brakes.
